HR and Recruitment Administrator

Outline

To provide administrative support to the HR function to support the business and all levels of staff. Taking an active part in all aspects of Recruitment, taking the lead on facilitating the process from start to finish.

 

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Fulfilling all recruitment requests, including creating and updating job descriptions and adverts, placing adverts on job boards or liaising with necessary advertising partners, pre-screening and telephone interviewing candidates, arranging interviews, supporting interviews/assessment centres, making offers of employment and providing feedback, issuing offer letters and contracts of employment, creating HR files and electronic HR record;
  • Pre-Employment checks of all candidates including criminality and financial probity checks where necessary, and obtaining all previous employment references;
  • Obtaining, checking and signing right to work documentation for all new recruits;
  • Providing recruitment support to line managers, trainers, HR colleagues as required;
  • Providing feedback to managers where necessary including evaluation of each recruitment process;
  • Communicating with agencies, including obtaining references;
  • HR and Recruitment administration; paperwork preparation, filing and archiving;
  • Ensuring all recruitment KPIs and SLAs are met;
  • Assisting with department/company audits;
  • Compiling information for site and group level Recruitment reporting, for the HR Manager;

 HR

  • Delivering induction training as required;
  • Ensuring all HR KPIs and SLAs are met;
  • Administration to support any informal or formal processes;
  • Ensuring all documentation and procedures are to ISO9001 standards;
  • Providing continuous suggestion for improvement to processes, practises and procedures to the HR team;
  • HR and Recruitment administration, paperwork preparation, filing and archiving;
  • Provide support to local site committees and working groups;
  • Compiling information for site and group level HR reporting, for the HR Manager;
  • Providing Reception cover, in the absence of the Site Administrator.

Must be able to travel and work from other offices as and when required in line with business needs.

Salary/Rate

£8.50 per hour + recruitment based bonus TBC

 

Hours

37.5 per week, between the hours of 8am – 10pm Monday – Sunday. Standard Office hours are between 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday.

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in an administration role (E);
  • Experience in HR/Recruitment (E):
  • CIPD Level 3 Qualified (P);
  • University degree (P);
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills, ability to multitask and work independently (E);
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy (E);
  • Flexible approach to working hours and location (E);
  • Excellent understanding of call centre practices, KPIs etc. (P);
  • Background of working with various levels of staff, suppliers, stakeholders (P);
  • Basic knowledge of Employment Law legislation (P);
